Chapter 25
Written by Alec, Jessie, Anonymous, Anonymous
August turns to September.
And when Jem and Scout are out on the back porch
Scout wants to murder
A roly-poly bug.
Jem tells her
Not to, and she reluctantly does as she’s told.
Just days before, Atticus went to Helen Robinson’s house
Before he could tell her about Tom, old
Mrs. Robinson had already fallen to the ground in her house.
The case is labeled as a murder of an innocent man,
And Bob Ewell says “one down about two more to go.”
The summer comes to an end and Dill leaves Maycomb looking tan.

School has come gradually
So once again they went to Radley's
They went there bold
They had nothing to fear for they grew too old
Scout wants to see Boo Radley
But her shadow from the trial remains, sadly
Miss Gates taught something and Scout listened carefully
Scout then asked Jem about the trial
Jem got mad and told her not to mention it for a while
Scout went to Atticus to make her smile

Now that we got to know Boo Radley
He is the least of our worries
We were mainly worried about our father,
Since he lost the trial.
Bob Ewell was still suspicious about the trial
And everyone involved in it,
Especially the Finches
Bob made it clear he had hatred for them
With his hasty remarks,
Even at this point Tom Robinson had no point to live.

Chapter 28
Written by Marya, Anonymous, Anonymous
It’s a quiet morning walking to school.
But then Cecil startles Jem and Scout
Scout runs away with Cecil
And they have a good time, with no fear.
Then they start walking home when they hear.
Theirs a noise in the bushes.
They think it’s just a friend but then a stranger
Lunges out at them and attacks them.
Then Jems costume falls over and she’s stuck,
But they are saved by a strange man who brought them home.
