                                                                                  Atticus was an older father
                                                                                  To Scout and Jem
                                                                                  Scout thought Atticus was boring
                                                                                  She thought that he should be hunting and fishing
                                                                                  Instead of reading and studying all the time
                                                                                  An old dog later was walking down our street
                                                                                  Cal thought it was a mad dog
                                                                                  Atticus and the sheriff came with a rifle
                                                                                  And Atticus put the dog down with a bullet
                                                                                  Atticus didn’t want people to know that he was a great shot

                                                                                  Chapter 11

                                                                                  On the way to the business district of Maycomb,
                                                                                  They’re yelled at by Mrs.Dubose
                                                                                  As they walk past her home.
                                                                                  She says that Atticus isn’t any better than
                                                                                  The people he works for in Maycomb.

                                                                                  Jem becomes mad and he takes his anger
                                                                                  Out on Mrs. Dubose’s camellia bushes.
                                                                                  As punishment for being an abuser,
                                                                                  To her flowers, Atticus makes him read to her.

                                                                                  Every reading session grows longer,
                                                                                  After each, a fight comes between Jem and Mrs.Dubose.
                                                                                  She later dies and Jem is told by his father
                                                                                  About her addiction to morphine.

                                                                                  In the end, he was reading to help her combat,
                                                                                  Her addiction and she thanks him with a gift.
                                                                                  When Jem is at
                                                                                  Home Atticus gives him a box, containing a white Camellia.

                                                                                  Chapter 12

                                                                                  Jem turned 12 with joy
                                                                                  But Scout needs to be a tomboy
                                                                                  She waits for Dill but she gets mad
                                                                                  When Dill has a new dad

                                                                                  Atticus had to go to the capital state
                                                                                  For two weeks and cannot be late
                                                                                  Cal takes the kids to her church
                                                                                  But Cal was soon besmirch
                                                                                  By Lula because the kids were white
                                                                                  But were welcomed.
